Joy in the little things...

In spite of our cool and cloudy summer, the flowers in my garden still proudly display their glory...

Who do you think is having the most fun?

My birthday on Sunday, a fun family day down at Deception Pass. Only one mishap...Gord running into the ocean to save a $2 Frisbee only to discover that my cell phone was in his pocket. Needless to say, it subsequently drowned...but Gord and the Frisbee were fine :)

New Laundry Room

One of the countless things I've been meaning to do is decorate my laundry room. We painted it this yummy celery green over a year ago but I just never 'got around to' doing much else to it. Since Gord has been in Winnipeg visiting his family again, I have been inspired to work on it! I am very excited about the results...

To the left of the window is a pair of antique lady's bloomers that I found in Paris last summer.
It looks more green than it really is but I am really happy with it.
